4thand15 lead sheets.

This is track  010 on my album  titled  “4th And 15” which is available at most digital music distributors as well as on Amazon Prime Video.

This song is in the key of Fm  using chords  Fm7, and bit of a Cm.   Basically I’d say it just sticks with Fm7 the whole way through.    The little bridge between verses is where I comp the Cm chord for one stab.      I like the vocal melody I came up with for the song, it’s fun to sing.  The album does use a bit of echo right and left audio effect which makes it sound nice coming out of the verse.   The little solo coming out of a verse in right hand is notes  F Ab Bb C Eb C F Eb C Bb A Bb F. There is a solo section which I don’t cover in the video, but just think F minor Pentatonic scale.

Roy’s Song

The voices used on the Yamaha S90XS are:
No arps or drum etc. used,  just one piano voice
P1 002 Full Concert Grand   (piano      left and right hand

4thand15  lead sheets.

This is track  014 on my album  titled  “4th And 15” which is available at most digital music distributors as well as on Amazon Prime Video.

This song is in the key of D  using chords  D, A, Bm  and G so that’s  a 1 5 6 4 progression.      The  chorus switches to  a 1 5 4 progression.      In this song the melody rhymes with chord notes as I sorta roll the chords in the right hand.   This is first song I’ve  published that uses just piano only.    Originally I named the song “Special Day”  but then realized the lyrics match up to my mom’s life so I titled it “Roy’s Song”.   Roy is her companion of some 20 years now.
